I have three excellent tagelharpas, horse hair strung and metal strung.
EBEB – E major and minor
EAEA – A major and minor
DADA – D major and minor
CGC – C major and minor
DGD – G major and minor (I’ve not tested this one)
Although the tagelharpa is has all the notes, it is a drone instrument so to play passages that modulate these have to be recorded and comped in several passes.
This is quick note on some of the combinations possible. (I need to replace this!)
